Muhurat for the erstwhile PRP members to join the State Cabinet has reportedly been set on January 19.According to the information, it was earlier thought that their induction would take place on January 17. But the plan was abandoned and the new date was fixed as it was deemed more auspicious.
Apart from naming two members, who would be provided berth in the cabinet, even the Muhurat for the induction was left to Chiranjeevi’s choice. It is learnt that Chiranjeevi fixed January 19 for the induction and the Congress High Command has cleared it.
As desired by Chiranjeevi, MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao and MLC C. Ramachandraiah, would be inducted into the cabinet. Though some Kadapa district leaders of Congress had opposed Ramachandraiah’s induction, the Congress high priests reportedly gave importance to Chiranjeevi’s view. While Chiranjeevi asked for three posts, the Congress High Command asked him to be satisfied with two for the present and Chiranjeevi has agreed to it.
