SS Rajamouli's 'Eega' to be released in 3D in Hindi

Bilingual animation Movie 'Eega', claimed to be southern cinema's most technologically superior movie, will be dubbed in Hindi, which will be converted into 3D version, says producer Suresh Babu.
The socio-fantasy film, releasing worldwide in Tamil and Telugu July 6 with 1,200 prints, is written and directed by SS Rajamouli.
Conversion technology is being used to make the 3D version of the movie, said the filmmakers at a press meet here. Producer Suresh Babu said that movie has cost between Rs.28 crore to Rs.30 crore.


"We are sure to release the 3D version of 'Eega' in compatible theatres in north and Maharashtra. We are releasing the Telugu version 'Eega' and Tamil version 'Naan Ee' in Mumbai and other important centres in north," said Rajamouli.
The Hindi version is expected to come out at the end of the year and the director is confident of "a greater response to the 3D version in Hindi when it is released".
In the film, a house fly plays the protagonist's role, while Kannada actor Sudeep plays the antagonist, who kills a young man who falls for the same girl as him.
Later, the dead man takes the life of a house fly to torment the antagonist.

Recently during the various promotional activities of Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahaani, Shahid rescued Priyanka Chopra several times as the need arose.

Like there was this one instance when Kunal, PC and Sasha decided to take a train ride on a Mumbai local. A portion of TMK is shot on a local and the actors felt they should experience the real thing, so they boarded a train with some media crews also present. Mumbai locals are jam-packed most of the time and PC was completely crushed when they boarded the train. When Sasha noticed how she was struggling to find space, he not only found her a corner but also stood guard around her till they reached the destination.

During the promotions across the cities, this couple had to grapple with huge crowds in multiplexes and at malls. Shahid was a true gentleman and he made sure that he made way for PC and also elbowed out strangers in the vicinity. Unfortunately he had a price to pay. At a Mumbai college, the actor's hand was injured when he tried to manoveur through the crowds and he was bleeding because of a deep gash.

First look: Sridevi speaks English Vinglish

The first poster of Sridevi's much awaited comeback film, English Vinglish. Sridevi plays a housewife who tries to learn English to please her family. The film is directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by

R Balki. With this movie, Sridevi returns to the big screen after 15 years.

The movie also stars French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain and Priya Anand. Amitabh Bachchan will be doing a cameo in the film.

‘Rowdy Rathore’ all set to become the highest grosser of 2012 ?

After the massive opening success of the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rowdy Rathore’, the team behind the blockbuster hardly has time to do anything else but celebrate. The newest piece of manna for the team is the fact that their creation is now on its way to becoming the highest grosser of 2012!


The film, according to analysts, have amassed an amount of Rs. 115 crore, and given the way the graphs are turning out to be, crossing the 122 crore mark of ‘Agneepath’ is just but a few days away. People have not been able to get over the phenomenon called ‘Rowdy Rathore’, and Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Deva are all on cloud number nine.

The film opened to jam-packed theatres on the 1st of June this year, and ‘Rowdy Rathore’ has already attained the status of a cult film. The Indian audience is not yet ready to let the tsunami pass over them, and is consistently contributing towards the film’s gains from the Box Office, thereby catapulting it to the position of the highest grosser of the year – and we’re only in June! 

Shahrukh’s film with Katrina, Anushkha gets a title

So until now the stage was set, the actors had slipped into their characters’ skin and almost everything had fallen into right place except the movie’s title. We are talking about Yash Raj Films’ untitled movie which stars big shots of Hindi cinema like Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
While earlier it was believed that the movie was called ‘London Ishq’, a source from the YRF camp said that the film has been titled ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’.

The film will have the maestro Yash Chopra back to what he does best i.e. direction which is a clear hint that his audiences can expect fireworks this time as well. His last directorial venture ‘Veer Zaara’ also starred his favorite actor Shahrukh Khan with whom he has rolled out several hit flicks in the past such as ‘Darr’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ etc. 

Apparently, the shooting of the movie is already in progress and its promos are expected to be aired worldwide very soon.

Eega Ready to fly on July 6th

Ace director Rajamouli's latest movie 'Eega' is all set to release on 6th ofJuly . The film release date is confirmed officially. Earlier, it was supposed to be released on May 30 but it did't happened because of the lag in CG work as this movie is a visual effects extravaganza. Eega is riding on huge expectations among audience and trade circles.

Eega audio which was released some time back is making some note in public, MM Keeravani scored music for this film. Nani and Samantha are the lead pair in this ultimate revenge story. Kannada actor Sudeep plays a villain role in it.  Hero Nani who gets killed by the villain reincarnates as Eega and avenges his death and saves his love life Samantha is the story of the movie.

 Eega is a true bilingual which has been made in Telugu and Tamil and it will also release in Malayalam. Sai Korrapati is producing the movie on Varahi Chalana Chitram banner while D Suresh Babu is presenting it. The makers are planning to release this movie in 1200 theaters worldwide.

Brahmanandam’s Jilebi for Ram Charan

Brahmanandam has done many hilarious characters in his career so far. Director Vinayak is one of the few directors who use his talent to the core. Brahmanandam’s roles in Krishna and Adurs turned out to be major highlights of those films.

Once again Brahmanandam is doing a hilarious role in Vinayak’s film. Brahmanandam does the role called Jilebi in Ram Charan, Vinayak untitled film. There are many hilarious sequences on Brahmi and Cherry in this film, says the buzz.

This film is an out and out commercial entertainer. Kajal and Amala Paul are playing the female leads. Thaman is scoring music. Vinayak is making sure to have enough comedy in the film to make it appeal to all sections of audience.

Anushka romancing the Bad Boy

Tamil actor Karthi’s next film Alex Pandian is going to be released in Telugu as well. It is titled Bad Boy in Telugu. Anushka plays the female lead in the film. Alex Pandian is an action entertainer directed by Sooraj.

Studio Green is producing this film. Karthi’s upcoming release Saguni (Sakuni) will release on June 22. Karthi is the only Tamil hero with hundred percent success rate. He is yet to taste a flop. Both Saguni and Alex Pandian are riding on high expectations.

Anushka does some dare devil stunts in Bad Boy. This film will release in October.

Autonagar Surya will release in October

Naga Chaitanya fans have been waiting eagerly for his upcoming film Autonagar Surya directed by Deva Katta. This film has completed major part of the shoot. As per the director only 15 to 20 days of work is remaining.


However, Autonagar Surya is not aiming for release in the next couple of months. Deva Katta confirmed that the producer is planning for release in October. Samantha plays the female lead in this film and is being produced by RR Movie Makers Venkat.


Naga Chaitanya’s last release Dhada was released in December and he has taken considerable time for his next release. He needs to score a big hit to stay in the competition and let’s see if ANS fits the bill.  

Re- recording Of 'Endukante Premanta' completed

 Hero Ram’s forthcoming film 'Endukante Premanta' has completed its re-recording works successfully. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has worked hard to finish this work. He confirmed the same in his titter page. With this almost all the post production activities are done.

Soon after finishing the production formalities Endukante Premanta will go for censor scrutiny with the first copy. The film is directed by Karunakaran and produced by Sravanti Ravikishore of Sravanthi Movies. Tamanna has played female lead of the film and writer Kona Venkat essayed a key role. The movie is slated for June 8 release in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously.

Natasimha Balakrishna playing a pivotal, influential character in this film. Panchi bhora is playing aside Balakrishna as female lead. Deesksha Seth is the Manoj's romantic interest in this movie. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. Lakshmi Prasanna producing this movie on Manchu entertainments. The movie is expected to release in first half of June.    

Teja’s Neeku Naaku Dash Dash gets adult rating

Maverick director Teja’s upcoming romantic action entertainer ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ has completed its censor formalities and the movie has received an A certification from the censor board. Strong language, very violent scenes and a few sleazy references caused this rating to be given, as per sources.

The movie is all set to hit the screens this 12th and Teja has made the film completely with newcomers. Yashwanth Nag has scored the music and Bhavya creations banner is the producer. Teja is banking heavily on this movie to regain his form.

It's an honour to be in Jism 2: Sunny Leone

Indian Canadian porn star Sunny Leone says she is honoured to get a chance to work with the Bhatts, who have given her the lead role in the much-talked about Jism 2.

"It will be my debut in the country as an actress and I am really excited. Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt are the people in the industry who are very respected and well-known. It is an honour after knowing who they are and their company, it is an honour to be asked by both of them to be in this movie," Sunny said in a video posted by Mahesh Bhatt on YouTube.

Bhatt revealed Thursday that Sunny, a Punjabi born in Canada, is the mystery girl in the first poster of the movie. The rest of the cast, including two male protagonists, is yet to be finalised.

Sunny became popular in India after her stint in controversial reality show Bigg Boss 5.
